  2. ΚΑΠΕ REMODECE – WP6 CRES WP6 main Goal Theobjective of this WP is to analyse all the parameters, apart technological, related to energy consumption in the household sector, to examine different approaches, including voluntary agreements, technology procurement, labelling, mandatory minimum efficiency standards, and white certificates, in order to make concrete suggestions at institutional, supportive and fiscal level for a successful market transformation. 5. ΚΑΠΕ REMODECE – WP6 CRES Work Analysis (1) • Existing and future directives • 92/75/EEC General framework for energy labelling of domestic appliances • not successful measure • In Hellas, limited awareness from consumers • In your countries? • Level of awareness • Promotion of efficient domestic appliances

ΚΑΠΕ REMODECE – WP6 CRES Work Analysis (4) • All related information, existing experience and other relevant project results will be collected from project partners and utilised. • Key stakeholders such as manufacturers/wholesalers, utility companies, will be contacted and involved in order to analyse all relevant issues and to examine their willingness and motives to have a more active involvement towards energy efficiency (technology procurement, voluntary agreements, etc). Furthermore, their opinion on key issues, barriers, opportunities, etc, will be recorded and utilised. • Public administration will be called in round tables or will be interviewed in order to express their priorities and opinions.

  15. ΚΑΠΕ REMODECE – WP6 CRES OUTCOMES - DELIVERABLES Analysis report of all aspects related to energy consumption in the residential sector (human behaviour, habits, social and economic status, environmental awareness, education, etc). One of key outputs of the project will be a set of specific policy recommendations for each type of equipment, which can lead to a successful market transformation and to provide cost-effective energy and carbon savings.

  16. ΚΑΠΕ REMODECE – WP6 CRES Roles of Participants • CRES will be the coordinator of this task • ISR-UC will also have major involvement in this task. • All National coordinators for this task (EDF in France, eERG in Italy, Fraunhofer-ISI in Germany, ISR-UC in Portugal, CRES in Hellas, Energy Piano in Denmark, Sintef in Norway, Eneffect in Bulgaria, SEVEn in Czech republic, ARCE in Romania, e-ster in Belgium, CEU in Hungary) have the responsibility to collect, analyse, filter and synthesise the necessary information needed as input for this work package. • The rest of the partners have to assist task National coordinators and to provide them with information using their knowledge and contacts.
