  1. How to use Photostory 3 for Windows John Walker

  2. This is the start screen. • You will want to begin a new story, so all you have to do is click “Next”

  3. Click on “Import Pictures” and choose pictures you want to put into your photostory.

  4. You can import as many pictures as you want! Just drag over a selection, or use Ctrl and click to select multiple files if they are not together.

  5. Once you have imported pictures you will see them on a timeline. You can change the order of the pictures using the arrows at the right hand side of the timeline.

  6. Next you can add text to pictures if you want to.

  7. You can record a narration, and customise the motion and transition of your pictures

  8. This is the “Customise Motion” screen. You are able to preview what you have done.

  9. You can choose to add (or create) music. A great source of free (and legal!) music is http://freeplaymusic.com/index.php • It is good to check the music lasts as long as the Photostory

  10. Save your photostory in an appropriate location. It saves as a wmv video file. • Also save the Project – this means you can go back and edit the Photostory later.

  11. Now you’re done! You can choose to view your story, or start another one.
