  6. New England Power Pool FERC Electric Rate Schedule No. 6 Original Sheet No.2050 Market Rules & Procedures Appendix 20-GSection20 - Procedure the Determination of Loads Diagrams and Specific Examples V: Load Asset Contract Transaction Assume: Participant A has a 50% registered entitlement to Load #1. This is the only load Participant A has. No dispatchable, Interruptible or Station Service loads. No transactions in effect. PTF Loss Allocation 2 MW Tie line #1 100 MW NODE Load #1 196 MW Gen #1 96 MW With no load asset contracts Electrical load = L1 x 50% + PTF Loss Load = L1 x 50% + PTF Loss = 196 x .5 + 2 = 196 x .5 + 2 = 98 + 2 = 98 + 2 = 100 =100 Assume Participant A enters into a Load Asset Contract for Electrical Load and sells a 25% Load Asset entitlement to another other Participant. Assume Participant A also enters into a Load Asset Contract for ICAP with another Participant to purchase an additional 25% entitlement to load #1. Electrical load = L1 x .5 - L1 x .25 + PTF loss allocation = -196 x .5 - (-196 x .25) + -2 = -98 + 49 -2 = -51 MW Load = L1 x .5 + L1 x .25 + PTF loss allocation = -196 x .5 + (-196 x .25) + -2 = 149 MW Issued by: David T.
