SEQUENCE OF TEACHING COMPETETIVE SWIMMING STROKES The sequence of the strokes depends upon the individual’s, whatsoever is their preference, their liking which stroke they want to learn or the teacher, coach want to prefer any stroke or technique. Most of the group or individuals want to learn freestyle or front crawl first, back crawl second, breaststroke third and butterfly stroke fourth.

Activity: Swimming DESCRIPTIVE INDICATORS : GRADING SCALES (A+, A, B) • Enjoys swimming • Is familiar with free style/Back/butterfly/breast strokes/ displaying a high/competitive level of skill • Is a skilled diver/able to dive • Follows all safety norms while swimming • Has represented house/school/ state/national in swimming. MOST indicators in a skill= A+ MANY indicators in a skill =A SOME indicators in a skill =B

Yoga INDICATORS : • Shows keenness and interest • Is able to relax completely during exercises • Sits comfortably in the correct steady, straight posture • Is able to regulate breathing and meditate. • In meditative Yoga – is able to let go of stream of thoughts, cultivate and apply helpful thoughts
