  1. Blog: Live4ever.uk.com MUSIC THERAPY Life is a like a rainbow, it is a mix of colors and emotions. There are times when we feel blue and don’t feel like talking with anyone, when the company we seek most of all is our own. It may be because we know that nothing anyone will say can ease the burden we feel on our minds. There are times when we want the presence of others to brighten our life, but find that no one is nearby. These moments tend to lead us into a dark place. An exit vent for these emotions is reading. But one of the most popular ways to ‘chill’ is by listening to music. Music has this surprising way to fill our head with a rhythm that we couldn’t find before. To be lost in that rhythm is very therapeutic, for, its beats are much happier than our own. In a way, the gloominess we have flows out with the music and is replaced by those happier beats. Each person has their own choice of music, of course. Some will love listening to melodies that are timeless, some will prefer the fast and peppy beats of rock or heavy metal, and some will seek out new indie music. Others would write their heart into rap songs. It is no wonder that they say music is what feelings sound like. With music, the feeling of being alone vanishes quickly, and as with reading, it has the power to take us away from the unwanted harsh reality.
