  1. Purpose of Workshop • Specialist workshop for coaches who are working within the England Netball Regional Excel programme (satellite, county and regional academy) • To provide coaches with the knowledge and guidance to ensure England achieves the status of ‘number 1 ranked team in the world’

  2. The Aim of the England Netball High Performance Programme is to produce consistent success at World and Commonwealth level, ultimately leading to the fulfilment of the England Netball Vision to become Netball World Champions England Netball – High Performance Programmes

Role of Regional Excel Coach • To support and develop athletes and coaches • within the Regional Excel Pathway through: • the implementation of high quality Excel programmes • providing guidance and support for athletes • providing guidance and support for coaches • ensuring more accessible opportunities for athletes • To deliver players to the National Squad with the qualities required to be World Champions • Maximising the impact that they can have in their region on the development of performance athletes with the aim of becoming WORLD CHAMPIONS • MORE PLAYERS, DOING MORE QUALITY, MORE OFTEN
