  2. The Question • How do you make the best cookie ever and what are the details.

  3. Background Information • To make the perfect cookies we need the right ingredients, wet or dry • Also, to get the exact measurements we will need measuring tools. • We will need to preheat the oven to 375 degrees. • Bake for 9-11 mins, and cool for 2 mins.

  4. Hypothesis If we follow the directions correctly, and use the proper ingredients, then the cookies will be perfect.

  5. Materials • Butter (1 cup) • Flour (2 ¼ cups) • Baking soda (1 tsp.) • Salt ( 1 tsp.) • White sugar (3/4 cup) • Brown sugar (3/4 cup) • Vanilla (1 tsp) • Chocolate chips 3 (cups)

  6. Materials continued • Mixing bowls (3) • Electric mixer • Measuring tools • Cookie sheet • Cooling rack

  7. Procedure 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Add the dry ingredients in a bowl. 3. In the second bowl add butter, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. 4. Add eggs to butter mixture, whip in one at a time. 5. Add flour to butter combination. 6. Stir in chocolate chips.

  8. Procedure Continued 7. Spoon ping pong ball amounts of dough on to the pan. 8. Bake for 9-11 minutes. 9. Cool the cookies for 2 min or more.

  9. Notes For Baker • When tasting cookies eat a one regular cookie from box and the “best cookie ever” that you have made. • Baker can grease pan if they desire.
