  4. Despite a traditionally rigid style, the art of New Kingdom Egypt displays volumes of personality and energy with a distinct illustrative heart.

  5. The Art of Hellenistic Greece is similar in dynamism. These artists were concerned with motion and grotesque reality over the idealism of the Classical Age.

  6. These bronzes are full of energy and the suggestion of a greater context that speaks to us of life in Ancient Greece.

  7. Though separated by cultural and stylistic conventions, both New Kingdom Egypt and Hellenistic Greece produced artwork with great energy and tension, displaying not only a concern with motion and storytelling, but with portraying life as they saw it.
