The Initiative: OSI 4 eU@HOME • Integrated Project, 36 months, 12 Mio funding (est.) • Objective: Open Standards Initiative for an European e-service framework sUpporting independent living @home • Combining results from pastsplit individual technical investigations performed successful @ EU & national level • Involving all stakeholders in the future business flow • Interworking with European and National AAL Initiatives • Experiment with an innovative service platform and new generation services supporting the elderly community • Pan-European coordination of 4+1 national trials verifying business and service structures on technical, economical and legal level and harmonising with unique requirements of individual national requirements Dr. S.
