  2. Bad breath is one of the common dental issues, also called halitosis, can be downright embarrassing. Based on dental studies, about 85 percent of people with persistent bad breath have a dental condition that is to blame. Gum disease, cavities, oral cancer, dry mouth, and bacteria on the tongue are some of the dental issues that can cause bad breath. Sensitivity Those sharp pains you feel when you eat something hot or cold are usually an indication of tooth sensitivity. Sensitivity is a standard dental problem, especially among adults, but it can be easily treated. Changing toothpaste and topping up on fluoride are common remedies, however more serious sensitivity problems may call for a gum or root canal treatment. Tooth Decay Tooth decay, also known as cavities, it occurs when plaque, the sticky substance that forms on teeth, combines with the sugars and/or starches of the food you eat. This combination produces acids that attack tooth enamel. Tooth Erosion Tooth erosion is the process of losing tooth structure and is caused by acid attacking the enamel. Its signs and symptoms can range from sensitivity to more severe problems such as cracking. Yellow Teeth

  3. Not everyone’s teeth are perfectly white. Some teeth naturally have a yellow undertone to them but oftentimes, yellow teeth are caused by diet and smoking. Beverages such as coffee and red wine contribute greatly to staining teeth. Gum (Periodontal) Disease Gum disease, also called periodontal disease, is an infection of the gums surrounding the teeth. It is one of the main causes of tooth loss among adults. Gum disease or periodontal disease can be caused by various factors including poor oral hygiene, genetics, and smoking.
