  4. A metaphor is a way of comparing two things that are not really alike. When we use metaphor we DO NOT add “as” or “like”. Metaphors simply state that something IS another thing… Metaphor

  5. She is a wall – nothing gets into her heart. My dog is a feather, you can carry him around on your hands for hours. Examples of metaphors
