GCAMS/B & D • Issues • ETs do not attend B&D • Deckplate feedback indicates inefficient human resource management at afloat AIMDs, Tenders and Regional Calibration Labs. • SIMAs (ETs) doing Physical Calibration • Phased Replacement of “Non-Standards” • No clear ownership/budget for: ‘scopes, meters, signal-gens, etc...

  12. Recommendations • Study needs for Physical/Dimensional training for ETs • Study ET Calibrator Career Path (a.k.a. TFE Professional Development Vector) • Should some/all ETs attend B&D? • Should occasional ET attend Advanced Cal/Precision Phys-D?

  13. Recommendations • Convene Precision Phys-D “Stakeholder’s Workshop” similar to SWTRR reviewing utilization • Stakeholders work with CNET to establish clear ownership of non-standards gear Phased Replacement • Encourage emerging Executive Agent to address training specifically.
