Each group gets 1 word to define and discuss: “proactive,” “self-directed,” “process,” and “attainment.” Each group - present your word and its meaning to the class.   4. 4. Class - based on discussion, rewrite the definition of self-regulation in your own words. 5. Look at the Self-Regulation poster and read the four steps. 6. Review the definition: Self-Regulation is a proactive, self-directedprocess for attaininggoals, learning skills, and accomplishing tasks. Review the 4 steps: Handouts: Two handouts are specifically for checking your grades, and the other can be used for any of the goals you created Tuesday. Take some time to review the 3 handouts. Use your Student Grade Check sheet to complete the Weekly Self-Regulation and/or the Grade Check Action Plan sheets. Competition! The Advisory classes that turn in the most of completed Student Grade Check and Weekly Self-Regulation forms win. Due August 30th.
