Completed activities • Launched in October 2004 • Distributed over 12 000 copies to date • 5 000 via mailing to institutions • Evaluation form online • www.jisc.ac.uk/elp_feedback.html • Used for staff development, CPD, initial teacher training • Planning regional workshops with The HE Academy to disseminate outcomes and test and refine models and tools developed

Current activities • Evaluation of LAMS • Evaluation tools developed • Evaluation of pre-training questionnaires by Liz Masterman • Final report due end of April • www.jisc.ac.uk/elp_lams.html • Evaluation of other learning design tools to support designing for learning • mind-mapping tools, VLEs, interactive whiteboards, content creation tools • Projects running from April – October 2005

Innovation Strand • Innovative Practice with e-Learning – Sept 05 • how innovative practice with e-learning can extend and enhance rather than replace current practice • how the use of technologies can benefit learners and maximise their learning potential • how to plan for effective deployment of these technologies in future developments within the institution, in particular for the impact they may have on learning space design • Guidelines for learning space design – Sept 05 • highlight key issues and information to be considered when planning new learning spaces incorporating technology • Aimed at senior managers and estates teams
