  2. Pel·lícula dirigida per Mihalis Kakogianis, basada en la novel·la “Alexis Zorba” de Nikos Kazantzakis, i protagonitzada per Anthony Quinn, Irene Papas i Alan Bates.

  3. Va néixer a l'illa grega de Quios el 29 de juliol de 1925. Durant la Segona Guerra Mundial, s'uneix a la resistència contra la Itàlia feixista i contra l'Alemanya nazi. És detingut i torturat pels italians en 1943. MIKIS THEODORAKIS Després de l'alliberament de Grècia, comença la Guerra Civil. Theodorakis és perseguit per les autoritats monàrquiques i deportat a les illes de Ikaria i Makronissos. Finalment torna a Atenes, on pot acabar els seus estudis al Conservatori. El 1954 obté una beca per estudiar a París. Torna a Grècia l’any 1960. ritalilichio@yahoo.com.ar
