  2. Bundling • New comb ready:Comb in use • Fibres trimmed on rubber sheet with cutter knife:- align centre fibre on horizontal white line- trim fibres along vertical white line QA image for one connector (# of fibres in a bundle) Polished surface Cut surface

  3. Connectorisation • Bridge ready:Bridge in use • Fibre radius guide during connectorisation QA image for one connector (# of fibres in a hole)

  5. Light source • LED survey finished:EG-5UV405-15 from ETG Inc.- Peak 405 nm, range 400-410 nm- 12 mW outputnow in hand. • Optics:- spherical lens for collimation is ready- cylinder lens for focusing is ready- preparing mount for lens- needs mechanical slits

  6. Mechanical • Connector:patch-panel connector for external waveguide revised to have gland • URGENT:- go-nogo gauge to be made- station connectors to be made • Carbon-fibre station- needs to be machined for connector holes • Doublet-layer- want the first doublet-layer as soon as it is ready so that we can start work during manufacturing of the second/third doublet-layers. • That’s all!
