However, most of the problems that occur are easily rectifiable with the proper measures at the right time.   Though there can be numerous reasons for one to reformat their device, whatever it may be, it is mandatory to remember under all circumstances that you must backup your data into another device or hard disc, for all the data saved in your C drive will vanish after reformatting your device.

  3. You first have to fetch the installation CD and put it in the CD slot. • Once you have done this; restart the device. • Now press any key on your keyboard, once instructed to do so. You must make sure that you make a new partition after you have deleted the previous one. • Now you will see the option to format under the advanced settings menu.
