Transition from CVS to SVN • Zeuthen ILC software repository is being transferred from CVS to new system: • “subversion” (SVN), to prepare for shutting down CVS (long term plan) • All repositories have already been copied, preliminary info: http://svnsrv.desy.de • Repositories can be viewed via a web-interface: https://svnsrv.desy.de/viewvc • and also accessed using the CLI svn, e.g. • svn list https://svnsrv.desy.de/public/marlin (public access) • svn list https://svnsrv.desy.de/svn/marlin (write access) • All developers for LCFIVertex and tagnet repositories (Erik Devetak, Mark.Grimes • Kristian Harder, SH, Talini Pinto Jayawardena, Ben Jeffery, Tomas Lastovicka, Victoria Martin, • Roberval Walsh) should have received emails about this and ought to register with • the new system as described in these emails (i.e. contact Wolfgang Friebel with • your GRID certificate DN)

ILD mass production: signal samples • ILD MC mass production is progressing well (cf Roberval’s report from ECFA workshop) • Mark Thomson is therefore requestinginput for deciding on the near term priorities; • people planning physics studies for the ILD LoI should provide estimates of • (signal) samples needed • number of events • details of MC generation of four vectors (generator settings) • Please contact Mark a.s.a.p. with any requests, so that balanced priorities can be • found for the generation of signal and of SM background samples as well as the • reconstruction
