Combine Your Interests • The program: Study the fundamentals of Computer Science and learn to design and build innovative computer applications. • Bachelor of Computer Science Choose one of 6 areas of specialization, or minor in another field to combine your interests. • What’s next? Graduates work in every industry, from software, gaming and app development to finance, government and healthcare. Some even go on to medical school!

Combine Your Interests • The program: Apply information technology to improve business processes and decision making within any kind of organization. • Bachelor of Information Systems You will learn both computing skills and key business skills like finance, marketing, accounting and management. • What’s next? Graduates take on crucial roles such as business analyst, application developer or project manager, providing leadership that aligns business with ICT in their industry of choice.

Combine Your Interests • The program: Apply engineering concepts to the design and maintenance of reliable, safe and efficient software systems. • Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering Considered an Engineering degree, students are eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer upon graduation. • What’s next? Software engineers are particularly qualified to work on “safety-critical” applications, such as those found in the aviation, medical and energy industries.

High Demand Means: Higher Wages A: Around $35K is a reasonable expectation in NB.$35K per year = about $17.50/hr • Q: In NB, what starting salary can an average University graduate expect? • Q: What salary offers do new Faculty of Computer Science graduates receive? A: CS graduates commonly make $45K to $55K in their first year after graduation. Some earn $70K or more. $50K per year = about $25.00/hr $70K per year = about $35.00/hr
