  1. Enabling the Formation of All-in-One CoatingsDaeyeon Lee, University of Pennsylvania, DMR 1055594 Coatings made of nanoparticles can prevent fogging on windows and suppress glares from sunlight. Despite their usefulness, nanoparticle coatings cannot be easily fabricated due to a narrow processing window. Our recent study has shown that it is possible to widen this processing window by modulating the coating formation by addition of a soap-like molecule. Philly Materials Day Exhibit Showcasing All-in-One Nanocoatings Daeyeon Lee, University of Pennsylvania, DMR 1055594 The Lee group presents an exhibit showcasing “All-in-One” nanoparticle coatings at the Philly Materials Science and Engineering Day held at Drexel University. Two female undegraduate students (Melissa Wang and Harmony Li) participated in the Research Abroad program to perform summer research at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology in Korea. The program provided the students an opportunity to broaden their cultural and educational experience.
