3. Option 1:Overview The first Design of my navigation bar is fit to the functional requirement of creating a navigation that is easy to use. This is because all the users have to do is scroll over the section they want and a drop down menu appears. This allows the user to go to any page they want from the homepage. Also a roll over effect ensures that the user knows that the button they have scrolled across is a link and it will attract them to click on it. The colours are fit to the image of Churchill Academy. The navigation bar is appropriate to the designated target audience because the colours are not bright and the navigation bar supports the fact that Churchill want to help year 11 students in the application process. Also the drop down menu make Churchill seem more professional which will attract users to apply to Churchill Sixth Form.

This option is fit to the functional requirement of creating an easy to use navigation bar. The only difference is that it no longer has a drop down menu once a button is scrolled across. Overview of storyboard for Animation: The storyboard for option 1 of the multimedia project is a slideshow showing the different elements of the quality social life that is on offer at Churchill Academy School. It is fit to the target audience because it uses appropriate pictures which are fit to the purpose. The pictures show students what Churchill Sixth Form has to offer from a social aspect. I believe that the slideshows will instantly grab the attention of the users as the fading effect is eye catching and will help make students wish to further their view of the website. 14. Overview of Splash Screen: My splash screen instantly tells the user what the multimedia project is going to be about and it encourages the user to carry on using the multimedia project. This is because the instant interaction provides the user with entertainment straight away making them want to look at the multimedia project in a lot more detail. This shows that it meets the functional requirement. The splash screen is also fit to the user because it uses correct colours and uses professional animation methods that suit the target audiences age group.
