Tuesday, September 17th. Create a document of 6 to 8 “Rights” that all human beings around the world should have. Here is the plan…. Student’s will create a list of basic human rights. Students will debate the responsibility that comes with exercising those rights.

  1. Tuesday, September 17th Create a document of 6 to 8 “Rights” that all human beings around the world should have.

  2. Here is the plan… • Student’s will create a list of basic human rights. • Students will debate the responsibility that comes with exercising those rights. • Students will celebrate Constitution day!

  3. List of Rights • Is there any rights that we all have in common? If so, which ones? • What happens when your rights infringe upon the rights of others? • What happens when people in other parts of the world don’t hold the same views as you? • What document protects the rights of individual Americans?

  4. We the People… • Can you finish the Preamble to the Constitution? • Although many people contributed, James Madison is often called the Father of the Constitution.
