Sheep • Ram – mature male sheep • Ewe lamb – young female sheep • Ram lamb – young male sheep • Lamb – newborn sheep or young sheep, also the meat from a young sheep • Ewe – mature female sheep • Mutton – meat from a sheep older than one year of age • Wether – castrated male sheep • Lambing—act of giving birth
