  2. Long - termgoals • To enhance geographical skills of pupil by inculcating 21st centuary teaching methodologies.

  3. Short-term goals • To develop mapping skills • To create an awarness of changing world • To enhance observation skills • To implement computing skills in geography

  4. Instructional strategies & tasks • Provide an opportunity for students to interpret maps • Inculcate group work – peer and self teaching opportunities. • Enhance their thinking skills as inquisitiveness leads to many investigations • Develop a skill of recognizing and describing patterns of both physical and human features • Encourage pupils to engage themselves in group discussions • Praise pupils on their achievements to maintain healthy attitude towards the subject

Expected challenges and their solution • Field work may not be possible due to syllabus constraints and political unrest in the country. • Unwillingness of pupils to participate in group discussion. • Non availibity of pictures and maps . • Less computing skills of students for presentions and research skills. • Arranging for trips within school vicinity. • Encourage and council pupils to participate in group work. • Search google for required photos and then use projectors to display the photograph related to the topic. • Communicate with ICT facilitator to help students in computing skills.
