  5. SANTA • The busy time starts after Labor Day. When you go back to school, we make hay.

  6. MRS. CLAUS • You think we’re kidding? We’re serious, you know.

  7. BOTH SANTA & MRS. CLAUS • Wefeed the reindeer when it snows.

  8. ALL SINGING • Yes, they’re dealing with thereindeer, reindeer, reindeer, driving them out of house and home.

  9. Eating and eating, always feeding. They need a haystack the size of the Superdome!

  14. Dasher and Dancer start at brunch. • Prancer and Vixen munch at lunch. • Comet and Cupid eat bite after bite. • Donner and Blitzen snack at night.

Scene 6_Anastos • Student 26: That’s gotta be tough, growing food for the reindeer with all the winter weather up there. • Student 27: I wish we had some of that snow they have up at the North Pole. • Student 28: How about if we each ask for snow on our Christmas list? • Student 29: Okay! (pretending to write a letter) Dear Santa, for Christmas this year I’d like some new video games… • Student 30: …some new clothes (no socks or slippers, please)… • Student 31:…and some snow!
