  1. Regal Marine Design Process • A design group comes up with ideas for new boats that will fit in with the image of Regal Marine • The design is then checked over by engineers to see if it is viable • Regal Marine gets input from suppliers about the design aesthetics and design innovations • Computer Aided Design is then used to model the boats and components necessary to manufacture

  2. Regal Marine Design Process • Designs, after being designed to fit already in place manufacturing plants, are then made into prototypes • These prototypes are then tested and re-tested to ensure that the design is sound and that it fits the image of Regal Marine • Once the design is approved, the manufacture is begun, with the hull and bow being created with a mold

  3. Regal Marine Design Process • The decks and other important components are then inserted into place • Finishing touches (paint, interior decorating, etc.) are put into place • The finished boat is then sent to testing to make sure that it is in tip top shape (i.e. no leaks, no failures assembly)
