  2. Timeline where are famous people are. • Beethoven was in the timeline of 1770-1827 • Helen Keller was in the timeline of 1880-1968 • The Year Of Miss Agnes 1948 • Marlee Matlin was in the timeline of 1965(still alive)

Beethoven ·Beethoven composed all 9 symphonies between 1799 and 1899 • He studied under Haydn for less then a year in 1794 • In 1801 he wrote a letter to his friend about his loss of hearing • In 1772 he to Vienna • At age 8 he studied theory and played piano • In his teenage years he performed playing piano • Beethoven was born in December 17, 1770- Bonn • Beethoven died in March 26, 1827- Vienna • Western Germany- Bonn • Vienna- Republic Australia • Beethoven and Hayhn Branms • Parents were Johann and Maria Magdalena

Helen Keller • Born in Tuscumbia, Alabama on June 27, 1880 • Born healthy, but got very sick when 2 years old • Got better but left her blind and deaf • Couldn’t talk • Helen didn’t always get along well with others • Helen’s parents took Helen to Dr. Alexander Gram Bell • Dr. Alexander Graham bell ran a school to teach deaf people • He told them about sign language and how to find a teacher • Annie Sullivan became Helen’s teacher

Helen Keller • ·        Everyday they studied spelling words Annie and Helen had a lot of fights Annie wanted Helen to listen to her but Helen did not like that idea. • ·        Helen’s parents never punished her when she was bad because they felt sorry for her, but Annie knew she had to learn to be good so she had to punish her. • ·        Everyday Helen got better and better when Annie taught her • ·        Annie took her out to a water pump one day and she put her hands under the water and she spelled water and she understood what words were now • ·        Now she could talk to people and people could talk to her by their fingers • ·        Helen learned to read and write in Braille. In Braille, words are reaised dots that blind people can feel.

Helen Keller • ·        Helen also learned to lip-read by touching people’s faces • ·        When Helen was a teenager she learned to speak • ·        When Helen was 20 she went to college • ·        Even know Helen was blind and deaf she spent her life helping blind and deaf people and she even wrote many books • ·        Helen Keller died on June 1, 1968
