Some figures (ESPS-2005) • 55% of the population is less than 20 • The elderly (+65) are less than 4% • The global health situation has improved (access to health services, costs, etc.) • The active population (+10) is around 50.7% • The workers are 38.7% • The unemployment rate (BIT) is 10% • The support ratio (100/(100+270)) is about ¼ • The expenditures per person is 500$

  4. Where to go? • Update the estimates using a new dataset (ESPF-2007) • Construct the estimates for 1994 using the ESAM1-1994 dataset • Estimate an income profile for ESPS-2005 and fix the LCD actually estimated • How to finance the LCD? Construct the 2nd part of NTA FLOW IDENTITY • Data on asset-based reallocations and transfers
