  1. Making use of events in the overlapped regions • After the previous meeting, there has been a plan to try to make use of the overlapped region to better understand various things. • Most of the following plots still have Igor’s full corrections as I’d like to make and see the same plots before I make the changes. • Used the run 10183035 (though histograms for all runs are available). • Ready to do the next step (Igor’s Table 2 …) …

  2. Horizontal RP’s In coordinate space (all in cm) : Y All these still with Igor’s full correction Vertical RP’s (m) X Golden events (one-cluster-per-plane) selected from the 2 pairs of opposite/collinear tracks (eg. WHI & WVD in EHO-WHI and EVU-WVD) which pass all the selection cuts. Y (m) X Kin Yip

  3. A check to show that we understand the optics of our system: We compare the slope of the straight line fit of the angle (RP) vs the coordinates(RP) obtained from the data to the slopes of the fits in simulations when we vary the quad. strength. Our knowledge of the magnetic strength is better than 1%. (mrad) (cm) Kin Yip

  7. Run 10183035 from golden events withoutcollinearity cuts Legacy stuff x0 from overlapped events using only coordinates (without Igor’s correction) All in (cm) Kin Yip

  8. Run 10183035 from golden events withoutcollinearity cuts Legacy stuff x0 from overlapped events using only coordinates (with Igor’s correction) All in (cm) Kin Yip

  9. Run 10183035 from golden events withoutcollinearity cuts Legacy stuff y0 from overlapped events using only coordinates (without Igor’s correction) All in (cm) Kin Yip

  10. Run 10183035 from golden events withoutcollinearity cuts Legacy stuff y0 from overlapped events using only coordinates (with Igor’s correction) All in (cm) Kin Yip

  11. Run 10183035 from golden events with all cuts (including collinearity) New Stuff x0/y0 from overlapped events using angles/coordinates (4 variables, with Igor’s correction) and solving 4 equations All in (cm) Apparently, vertical and horizontal pots give the same x0/y0. Kin Yip
