Il fascismo • Il dominio di Mussolini (il Duce) • Nessuno dovrebbe spendere più di dieci minuti al giorno a tavola • Il Duce aveva modi poveri e non vuole cenare in compagnia. • Fascisti avrebbero dovuto essere duro e aggressivo, con un disprezzo giovanile per il comfort. Modipoveri = poor manners Cenare = to dine Duro = tough Disprezzo = disdain

  3. Il fascismo • Propaganda nel 1930 ha preso di mira i nemici con certi nomi. • Gli Stati Uniti era una 'civiltà bistecca' e gli inglesi sono stati i ’la gente cinque pasti al giorno'. Ha preso di mira = has targeted Nemici = enemies Bistecca = beefsteak
