  3. Events Races Character visits School & library visits Book fairs & more Zak was all over the world this past summer raising awareness and funds for Room to Read with kids and families

  4. Event: Namaste India, June 108 studios in 50 cities on 6 continents. $40,000+ raised including T-shirts

  5. Event: City2Surf Marathon • Sydney AUS, August • “Zak was one of the most popular photo ops for runners and families.” • $40,000 raised. Next stop? Perth

  6. Event: Jungfrau Marathon, Switzerland, September The Yak Pack Team of 8 runners raised nearly $300,000 or 1,180 years of girls education Double-marathoners at the finish line!

  7. Event: Classroom Visits “Thank you for … helping me find new ways to pique kids’ love of books while educating them about others in the world.” Jean Gilette, La Costa Heights Elementary School New Zak costumes were sent to Australia and Japan. US Zak travelled across the country working directly with kids , families, teachers and booksellers creating innovative programs to engage kids with the concept of philanthropy and how a single good idea can help change the world.

This new & digital friendly activity book series will be defined by its goofy charm, puny humor and passion for words. Partnership proposals possible with Random House or Reader’s Digest. GREETING CARDS (Fall 2013) Print & Digital. Proposal in development for American Greetings LITERACY CALENDAR (Fall 2013) Quotes and inspiration for readers, lovers of RTR and Zak the Yak. Content pulled from Zak’s Twitter feed. Partnership proposals for Mead,or Shutterfly.com

  12. Outreach & Brand Development with Kids, Families and Chapter Teams IN DEVELOPMENT: Zak’s “I LOVE BOOKS BECAUSE” Contest! Donor’s Choose Partnership? Free Zak classroom sets (up to 1000 books) to classrooms when kids tell Zak why they love books and reading.
