  3. Chapter 15 Focus Questions • What were the dominant industries and forms of agriculture in the Old South? • How did the dependence upon agriculture and slavery shape southern society? • How did the anti-slavery movement emerge, and what were the South’s reactions to it?

December 13 • CLO– STUDENTS WILL: • Engage in a short reading comprehension quiz by answering five multiple choice questions independently on chapter 17 • Watch a short video on the Civil War • Read a primary source from the Civil War and provide a written analysis of their understanding and interpretation of the document • AGENDA • Next week’s schedule • Quiz 17 • Crash Course – Civil War Part 2 • Primary Source Analysis • HOMEWORK • Study chapter 1 – 17 for review and Wednesday’s final!
