Graham Swamp Area-FLUM & Rezoning Findings • FLUM amendment: • Protects & recognizes environmental and recreational significance • No additional demand on infrastructure facilities • Zoning Map Amendment: • “Preservation” designation is consistent with Comprehensive Plan designation of “Conservation” • Consistent with Comprehensive Plan Goal “Protect, conserve, enhance, appropriately manage, and maintain or improve the quality of natural resources and environmental systems thereby contributing to the high quality of life and economic well being of the City”.

  6. Recommendation • Staff and the Planning and Land Development Regulation Board recommend that the City Council APPROVE the proposed Future Land Use Map Amendmentand the companion Zoning Map Amendment for the 3300+/- acre Graham Swamp Area.

  7. NEXT STEPS • Transmittal of FLUM amendment for State Agency Review before 2nd reading.

  13. Flagler Palms - Recommendations • Staff and the Planning and Land Development Regulation Board recommend that the City Council APPROVE the proposed Future Land Use Map Amendmentand the companion Zoning Map Amendment for the 9.8+/- acre parcel.
