Recruiting Video Recruiting Package – What We Need Clips 1st clips should be the best thing you ever have done on a lacrosse field Put it on YouTube so it will play with iphone/ipads Avoid the following: Do not replay clips Do not change the speed or show clips in slow motion Don’t show clips in chronological order (soph year first) or split into categories (feeds, goals, ect…). Show the best plays first! Defensemen do not have every clip of you carrying the ball – we need to see you defend Goalies try to get audio on the film instead of music

Chronological Timeline • Frosh • Email – keep consistent for process • Develop fundamentals; footwork, shooting, passing, speed • Excel in the classroom – begin SAT prep • Get US Lacrosse ID and register for NCAA eligibility center • Soph • Continue to develop skills – get into serious strength program • Critical year for classroom • Fill out recruiting profiles for each school possible interest in • Go to national soph events • HS and club coaches contact coaches for you and act as go between since they cant contact you
