Stakeholder Expectations: • Solid outcomes. • Pathways for effective partnerships amongst institutions and systems. • Develop and build sustainable relationships with grant partners. • Recognize successful collaborative model replicated across the country. • Online MLT to MLS online program with instate tuition. • MLT to MLS transition is clear and articulated. • Increase clinical sites. • Successful clinical coordination. • Extra leverage to make changes in the laboratory field happen. • Increase awareness about this career pathway. • Students will understand the difference between MLT and MLS. Grant Training Outcomes • Total Enrollment (exceeded expectations) • DOL SOW: 924 • Actual : 1104 • Program Completers/Graduates (met modified expectations) • DOL SOW: 527 • Actual 391 (~74.2%) • 67 MLT or MLS students will graduate in May and June 2012 (~86.9% /458 graduates) • MLT graduates: 209 • MLS graduates: 182 • Total Exiters: (graduates and non-completers) • Actual 630 • ~ 37.9% of MLT or MLS students left their program prior to completing their degree. • ~62.1% of students completed their degree during the grant reporting period.
