SP Release Overview • 8.4.0 – April • Vista UAC Support • Integrated tools – log, clean up • Local subnet access (8.3.1?) • Group based ACL (also available in 8.3.1) • 8.4.2 – Early August • SPX 800 with task flow based WebUI – Need field feedback • L3 Performance Improvement (also available in 8.3.1) • Web Resource Mapping has undergone numerous enhancements, including: • Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX framework fully supported. • Improved Google AJAX, Yahoo! User Interface, JQuery and MochKit support. • Improved Lotus Notes web access support. • Improved support for XML/XHTML content. • Improved the support for HTML containing multi-byte content, including but not limited to UTF-8, ISO-2022-JP, Shift_JIS and EUC-JP.
