  9. Cost Analysis • RDC-1 • Currently $100/ton for landfill disposal • Lowest waste to energy option=$30/ton=saving $1050/year for one machine • Potential to expand

  10. Cost Analysis • ScaffTag • Currently spending $100/ton for landfill disposal • Recycle @ $0.38/lb=$1,413/year revenue in addition to $186 cost avoidance • Potential to expand to other vinyl scrap

  11. Cost Analysis • Ink Containers • Used to pay $100/ton for landfill disposal • Compliance-$235/barrel for hazardous disposal ($940/year) • Now, recycle @ $0.38/lb=$500/year revenue

  12. GHG Calculations • Vinyl • 4 MTCO2E • Ink Containers • 1.5 MTCO2E • RDC-1 • 200 MBTU • 18 MTCO2E (based on MSW figures) • Waste to energy=less emissions than oil and coal
