  1. July 18th~31st, 2012 Interim report on tanigumi internship for sustainability Meister training program

The excellent performance at intern organization(finding problems and solving) Obtain good engagement and acceptance to the local community Find fundamental problems for achieving regional sustainability of the local community Try to find the solutions with community holistically (Try to solve it if possible) with your discipline Expected achievement as Meister trainees

  3. First entry to the site (2weeks) probably in Tani agricultural cooperation and construction sites (working with his employees) -> find many topics Next several entry to the site (1~2 weeks) -> focusing to several onesand gather information（ECOSUS) further entry (2~3 weeks) taking actions for seeking solutions with community The last entry (one day) presentation and obtain evaluation Schedule(1~2 years)

Objectives: Observing construction sites for irrigation pumping station, water tank and canal construction. • Special feature on the day. • Safety inspection by joint inspection team, consisting of contractors and Hokkaido Prefectural officers • Location: outside of Nakagawa town about 3km south from Nakagawa Michi no Eki Visiting cinstruction sites in Nakagawa cho

Progress as planned can be found. • Both are engaged to many peoples in the town, including sky jumpers • Some concerns from Mr. Nishiguchi san • Is what the company provides really much to Hokkaido University , StraSS? • Types of works which can be asked to the trainees. • Such as if trash picking or clean up construction sites.are acceptable or not.
