Bayplans • Format used: • ANZECS • UN/EDIFACT ‘BAPLIE’ Versions 1.3, 1.5, 2.0 • Floppy Disks are also provided to vessel. • Overseas Terminals/Agents send Bayplans to first Australian port of call. • Ship worked - Bayplan updated and sent to next Australian terminal. • At last Australian port of call Bayplan is updated and sent to agent for transmission to next overseas port.

  24. Container Movement Messages • Very Advanced • National mailboxes have been established. • Container receival/delivery/load discharge messages are sent to national mailboxes via EDI for direct update into shipping company systems.

  25. Sea Cargo Automation • An initiative of ACS & AQIS • P&O Ports has been an active participant in the development of electronic clearances for import cargo.
