  1. What’s my angle? Mr. Haduch’s Guide to Angle Fluency

  2. In presentation mode, click here! In presentation mode, click on the link above. It will take you to the Ambleside Primary website!

  3. Directions If needed go through the introduction to the Ambleside Primary website. If you do not need this introduction select, “skip intro”. The “Teacher Controls” menu will be your navigation bar. Each purple bullet point will be an activity for you to work your way through over the course of today’s session. You will need to share your screen between this presentation and the website. Each of activities will require you to journal your findings. At the end of the lesson you will save your work to the dropbox as, “What’s my Angle_Last Name”. Are there any questions on this process?

  4. Question #1: Use the arrows to change the angle to measure 25 degrees. Draw what that angle looks like below. Show the Angle Question #2: What is the geometric name of the angle drawn above? [Type your answer here…] Please respond to the series of questions to the left! You will need to share the screen between the website and the PowerPoint document. You can record your answers through typing in the text box and the use of inking tools! When you are done with the activity, click the “teacher controls” button to go back to the navigation window. Question #3: Use the arrows to change the angle to measure 145 degrees. Draw what that angle looks like below. Question #4: What is the geometric name of the angle drawn above?   5. 90 degrees 180 degrees Make & Measure Using the arrows and the protractor, create the angles that are listed to the left. You will need to record your answers using your inking tools. Check the boxwhen complete and draw the angle that you have measured on the website. You will need to use your rounding skills to round your measurement to the nearest 10 degrees. In this section, your measurements will not exceed 90 degrees. Record your thinking in the data table provided. Respond to the column that says add, to practice manipulation of angle measurements. When you are done with the activity, click the “teacher controls” button to go back to the navigation window.

  11. Up to 180 degrees in fives Using the protractor and arrows you will rotate the protractor to measure the angle provided. Round your measurement to the nearest one degree. Record your thinking in the data table provided. Respond to the column that says add, to practice manipulation of angle measurements.   12. Estimate up to 90 degrees Draw a picture of the angle provided from the website. Estimate the measurement of this angle. Check your estimation using the website. What is the actual measurement of the angle, the website will tell you this if you are accurate. Record this value in the data table. Record how many attempts it took you to provide an accurate estimation for the angle’s measurement. When you are done with the activity, click the “teacher controls” button to go back to the navigation window.
