SRSPs • SRSP 314.5 (14.5-15.35 GHz band) • Published December 2010 • Proceeding with update to SRSP 301.7 (1.8 GHz band) • Clarifications only • Plan to update SRSP 310.7 (rules for 10.7-11.7 GHz band) • Consequential changes to December 2009 policy decision to allow DTH in upper portion of the band • Will follow up with RABC discussion on antenna masks and possible further update

  3. Open Consultations • L-Band • Continuing testing by AMT and SRS incumbents • 28 GHz • Next steps: Policy decision, technical rules (SRSP)

  4. Planned Consultations • 10.5 GHz band • Policy on FS capacity limits • As per previous RABC request • 25.05-25.25 GHz • Sharing between FS and FSS earth stations • 70, 80 and 90 GHz bands • Comprehensive consultation • Use of TV white spaces • Target of mid-2011 • Backhaul • To focus on high level questions and issues

  5. Other projects in the works • Review of the technical rules for the 12.7 GHz VHCM band (SRSP 312.7) • Review of the technical rules for the 2.3 GHz WCS band (SRSP 302.3) • Guidelines on common technical issues for point-to-point microwave systems • Clarifications on: ATPC, adaptive modulation, etc.
