FRENCH LANGUAGE ACQUISITION • EFFECTIVE 1 JANUARY 2014: • All direct costs related to French language courses at the School of Continuing Studies for tenure track and non-clinical CAS academic staff and their spouses will be assumed by the University. • Assistant professors and librarians engaged in French language training can request permission to slow the reappointment clock to the beginning of Year 4 (after 3 complete years) provided they have passed 200-hours of French instruction.
