  1. Puppy After being hit by a car and left for dead, this Brindle puppy is not just looking for a home, he is looking for a medical sponsor. He needed his leg casted up to help the fracture heal, but now the vet needs to be paid too. Can you help? $1,200.00

  2. Kelani Kelani has her good days (most) and her bad days (a few) when she just can't keep any food down. Why? Because someone poisoned her. She's currently residing at an animal hospital, but what she really needs now is someone to provide a loving and comfortable home. Medical Treatment date: August 2004. $2,200.00

  3. Loca Loca’s family kept her hidden so their landlord wouldn't know they had a dog. Loca became pregnant and they still fed her people food, and didn’t consult a vet The puppies died inside Loca from lack of proper nutrients and Loca came to us for an emergency abortion.   4. Lucky Lucky has an old injury to his leg, probably the result of being hit by a car. While we scrape together the money needed for surgery, (feel free to contribute) we'd like to place him in a quiet home where he won't be tempted to rough-house with another dog.   5. Malibu Malibu came into rescue with an untreated eye injury. He's being treated now, but will probably not regain the sight in his eye. He is a good boy with a charming personality and just needs some training to become the perfect family dog. Medical Treatment date: July 2004. $400.00

  9. Jackson A vet opened Jackson up to remove cyst/tumor between bladder and prostate, instead he found cancer all over his abdomen and prostate. Tumor removal and radiation treatments JACKSON’S CANCER COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED BY NEUTERING JACKSON WHILE HE WAS YOUNG. $2,300.00

  10. Petey Petey came to BRLA really beaten up, thin, and needed some tumors removed. After being nursed back to health, Petey went for his vet exam to make sure he was ready for adoption. Instead, it seems he has bone cancer. Amputation or possibly Chemo. (Costs estimated) Medical Treatment date: TBD $1,000.00

  11. Paul On Wednesday, June 29th, 2004 Boxer Rescue LA picked up an injured male boxer in great discomfort, unable to walk. The vet began the painstaking work of putting Paul back together. Multiple fractures turned his pelvis and both back legs into something closer to a jigsaw puzzle than a dog. He took his first steps 8/24. $5,800.00

  12. Jazz Jazz is a new little girl that came in with her boyfriend Jake. Unfortunately, this little girl has a big problem in the form of a tumor on her left shoulder. The lump is about the size of half a cantaloupe on the surface, but only an operation will tell what is really going on. Please sponsor Jazz to get her the medical care she needs. $700.00

  13. Kasin This good looking boy with the perfect ears wants to go to a new home. Even though he is sweet and playful, no one will adopt Kasin with the scary-looking tumor on his right hind side. Please sponsor Kasin, send his tumor away so we can send him to his forever home. $500.00

  14. Jake Jake is our resident long-leggy supermodel. He has had to put his modeling career on hold, however, until he can get the two bleeding tumors on the underside of his belly removed. Please sponsor Jake, fame is fleeting and we don’t want him to miss his chance. $800.00
