  2. Nodal Invoicing – Shortened Settlement Timelines • Ongoing market discussions regarding a shortened settlement timeline • Currently from OD to RTM payout to market is ~ 28 days • DAM settlement timeline for posting statements and invoices is already very compressed • RTM settlement timeline for posting initial statement and subsequent invoice has more room for adjustments • There are a lot more considerations regarding changing the RTM Statement timing - if feasible, it would have to be a significant change to guarantee earlier payout • The RTM Invoice cycle has room for compression and compressing this cycle could have the most impact on condensing the “OD to RTM Payout” timeline

  3. General Proposal • Take a step in the direction of a shortened timeline, while market vets a potentially more comprehensive approach • Move to a single daily settlement invoice that captures both RTM and DAM settlement activity • Potential to reduce the “OD to RTM Payout” timeline by ~ 1 week • Some considerations: • Which set of approved statements are put on the invoice (yesterday’s? today’s? vary by DAM & RTM?) • Cash flow from DAM to RTM (holiday and late pay scenarios) • Setting the invoice due dates – use the DAM timing or modify? • Any QSE/CRRAH concern about paying for RTM faster? • Limited ability to run a RTM Resettlement to correct an issue and get it on the same invoice as the problematic settlement • Lends well to the new Default Uplift Invoice process

  4. Next Steps • ERCOT drafting NPRR (Cheryl & Mandy) • Needs to go through appropriate internal approval channels • QSEs/CRRAHs consider this approach and provide feedback for consideration by ERCOT
