The experiment with the plant • The importance of day and night • Division of the children into smaller groups • Let the children plant seeds in pots and water them. • One group will place the pot in an artificial environment with only light and the other group a pot in total darkness. • A third group will have a pot in normal conditions.

  4. Play role • The teacher brings three children in front of the group and modeling the activity that follows. • Separate children in groups of three. • Each child within the group represents sun, earth & moon. Try to practice the activity. • The children can change roles.
