  1. Seth and the Golden Jackal By Anayah B.

  2. Once upon a time an Egyptian family needed wheat to make food. The oldest son Bes went first to cut the wheat.

  3. When Bes went to cut wheat he met an old man named Kek. Kek was hungry and thirsty. He asked Bes for some food.

  4. Bes said “NO!” So Kek cursed Bes. When Bes went to cut wheat that same day, instead of cutting wheat he cut his foot in one swing. He knew it was the curse.

  5. He went home and his mother said “The next son must go and cut wheat.” So Ra went to cut wheat. He met the same old man. Kek asked again “May I have some food and drink?”

  6. Ra said no and Kek cursed him. Just like Bes when he went to cut wheat instead of cutting the wheat, he cut his leg. When he went home to the city his mom said, “Finally, Seth must go to cut wheat.”

  7. She wasn’t happy because the brothers called him tiny and wimpy, she didn’t think that Seth was going to cut the wheat. As Seth went to cut wheat he saw Kek just like his older brothers had. However, instead of not giving any to him he split it in half.

  8. Kek said, “I will give you something for helping me. “ When Seth went to cut wheat he saw a beautiful golden jackal. He thought he should go to the biggest city in Egypt, in order to buy things.

  9. hahaha Everyone wanted the golden jackal …they touched it and started to trail behind. When he got to the city Seth made the Egyptian princess laugh at this funny sight. The king let them get married.

  10. And They Lived Happily Ever After!
