Canada Border Clearance • With main offices established 26 years ago Luis Perez-Benitez is based at the U.S. / Mexico Border crossing at Laredo / Nuevo Laredo, providing on site assistance at the point where the majority of Canadian product enters the Mexican market. • While working for the Canadian Government as CANADA`S BORDER CLEARANCE REPRESENTATIVE Luis Pérez–Benítez handled more than two thousand relevant inquires and cases which means that BCR was able to facilitate entry to Mexico more than 100 U.S. million dollars in Canadian products LUIS PEREZ

Our success in this area is demonstrated by the long term relationships we have with: • Mexican Custom Brokers • U. S. Freight Forwarders • Shippers • Mexican officials in decision making positions at the major points of entry (land and air), mainly with: • MINISTRY OF HEALTH (SSA) • MINISTRY OF ECONOMY (SE) • MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK, RURAL DEVELOPMENT, FISHERIES AND FOOD (SAGARPA) • MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES (SEMARNAT) • DIRECTORS OF CUSTOMS (ADUANAS)

Canada Border Clearance • SERVICES • Available to consult with companies prior to shipping to ensure all paperwork is in order. • Available on-site to troubleshoot any problems if a shipment is held up at the Mexican border. • Assistance includes advice and consultation covering various matters such as import and export, customs, corporate, labor, tax, real estate, construction, criminal law, immigration law, politics, civil law, administrative law and other related matters.

Canada Border Clearance • SERVICES • Address initial inquires from prospective exporters concerning shipments via any Mexican port of entry, both ground and air. • Document and packaging review and related shipping documents, guidance on additional documents that might be required by Mexican officials for such a shipment as well as the acceptability of packaging and labeling. • Assistance with shipment clearance. Troubleshooting on behalf of Canadian Exporters and Mexican Importers of Canadian products.

Canada Border Clearance • SERVICES • Meet with individual prospective exporters as well as speaking at seminars organized in Canada and Mexico. • Provide legal advice to exporters to prepare and review legal documents requested by Mexican importers as well as to secure the payment of the products by Mexican importers. • Provide lists of recommended customs brokers and shippers.
