  2. What is Oversight? • Executive Goal Setting • PAI Allocation • 10% : quorate executive meetings with minutes sent • 20% : fulfills duties as required by Code, Bylaws, etc. • 70% : goal completion and progress

  3. What is the usual timeline? • Goal setting with the executives • Goal approval by Council • Midterm review meetings with executives • End of year meetings with executives • PAI deliberation • Presentation to Council • Miscellaneous issues

  4. **The Future** • PAI • De-Monetization of PAI • $1,500 salary increase • Goal progress and general accountability • Goal setting process does not change • Publically release goals and progress • Public reports at end of each term (summer, November, March) made by Oversight Committee.

  7. What are the benefits? • Increased transparency • More regular knowledge of executives’ goal progress • Wage equalization • Council oversight versus committee oversight • Better working relationships

  8. Motion for Council BIRT Council supports the de-monetization and modified timeline of the Performance Accountability Incentive as presented. BIFRT Council direct Oversight Committee to draft its presented recommendations as an amendment to the Code of Procedure and provide them to LPC for review as per the March 12th resolution of Council pertaining to the PAI restructuring.
