  1. Ways To Motivate Students Teachers not only form the front-line of contact with students but also act as the greatest source of motivation. Here are few ways to motivate students: Recognize their effort and good behavior.  Send notes of praise or hold regular award ceremonies in class to appreciate them. Set short-term as well as realistic goals for students. Also, let them know the goals &  award them for their achievement. Use different teaching methods like journal, discussion, group work, guided work, etc. while teaching to indulge students. Discuss with students and  create a list of classroom jobs. Allow them to choose a job every week as per their interest. Set incentives for performance, behavior and other parameters.
