  10. APOSTLES’ CREED • I believe in God the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth • and in Jesus Christ, his only Son our Lord • who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, • suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. • He descended into hell; • on the third day he rose again from the dead. • He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, • the Father almighty. • From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. • I believe in the Holy Spirit, • the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, • the forgiveness of sins, • the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen

  11. PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL In response to the Gospel anyone may try and say a prayer, ending: Lord in your mercy….. Missal suggests 4 intentions That our church might….. That our society might….. 24. RECESSIONAL (Tune: Kelvingrove) Will you come and follow me if I but call your name? Will you go where you don’t know and never be the same? Will you let my love be shown, will you let my name be known? Will you let my life be grown in you and you in me? Will you leave your self behind if I but call your name? Will you care for cruel and kind and never be the same? Will you risk the hostile stare should your life attract or scare? Will you let me answer prayer in you and you in me? Lord your summons echoes true when you but call my name Let me turn and follow you and never be the same In your company I’ll go where your love and footsteps show Thus I’ll move and live and grow in you and you in me.
